• Job Requirement: Must be able to commute to other branches on short notice
Position Overview:
The Member Services Representative (MSR) will be the first point of contact for our members. You will assist members with their financial needs, answer inquiries, and provide excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist members with opening and closing accounts.
- Answer questions about products and services.
- Resolve member issues.
- Perform routine transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, cash advances, loan payments, transfers, and check cashing.
- Provide information on Credit Union services and policies, including membership eligibility, account types, and loan insurance.
- Cross-sell Credit Union products and services based on member needs.
Additional Information:
- The MSR Float provides support and backup as needed.
- This position requires a flexible schedule to accommodate travel to work at any branch on short notice as directed by management.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education/Certification: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience Required: No experience is necessary, but customer and cash handling experience are helpful. Previous work experience at a financial institution is preferred.
- Skills/Abilities: Good communication and basic math skills. Able to work well in a team environment. Proficient in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
